Geography B

GEOGRAPHY B is the second course in a two-semester series which examines a broad range of geographical perspectives. Students will study each region using a similar structure in order to analyze the similarities and differences between each region. Students will understand the meaning of geography through in-depth exploration of Eastern Europe and Russia, East Asia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific Cultures, Africa, and India and the Middle East. The themes of geography will guide the exploration of each region (location, place, human-environmental interaction, movement, and region).
